I have more than 20 years’ experience working on magazines, newspapers and websites for a range of audiences. I’m a trained journalist and layout sub-editor with NCTJ qualifications and a keen interest in accessibility, user experience and inclusive design.

2021: A year in review

I was content lead on Sightsavers' first online annual report, to showcase the organisation'work in an immersive digital format. It was named Best Business Story at the Shorthand Awards.

Accessibility audit pack

This project helped health centres in low-income countries to improve accessibility. I oversaw content for the pack, working as part of the project team to conceive and develop the creative approach.

Perspectives magazine

I wrote and edited a print magazine to raise awareness about accessibility and inclusion among creative professionals. It was later shortlisted for a Design Week Award in the Editorial Design category.

Where is a woman’s place?

I led on the creative concept for this immersive story, in which women with disabilities share how they’ve defied stigma and discrimination.
